Other costs - Crating, duties, taxes & other Government Charges on imports"Key Choc charge £180 GBP to box/crate/pallet each machine. This cost includes the cost of heat treatment and heat certificate. This cost will be converted into AUD at time of order. The international shipping price quoted by Chocolate Equipment Pty Ltd trading as ChocMakers do NOT include duties, taxes & other Government charges. Before the order arrives at the destination port the customs department will calculate the cost of duties and taxes and will contact you to arrange for payment of any duties, GST or other Government charges. Typical duties and GST include: Import duty – 5% of the suppliers invoice value (Australia is currently finalising a free trade agreement which may remove any import duties being payable. GST calculation – Invoice value + import duty (if applicable) + international shipping/insurance x 10% = GST amount The Australian Customs admin fee varies depending on the invoice value. The minimum charge is AUD$92.00 and the maximum charge is AUD$194.00. Australian Customs uses the exchange rate prevailing on the date of export.

What warranty is offered?All machines bought from ChocMakers are sold with a full 12 month parts and labour, Australia-wide warranty provided by Chocolate Equipment Pty Ltd. For customers outside Australia, direct customers are covered by a 12 month ‘parts only’ warranty. Chocolate Equipment trading as ChocMakers warrants that the goods are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Unless otherwise mentioned, the warranty period shall be 1 year. ChocMakers will not be liable for any breach of warranty if the customer has altered the goods in any way without the consent of KeyChoc.

What Are The Payment Options?Payment must be made in AUD and can be paid in one of the following way: EFT into ChocMaker's bank account Credit card (Visa/Mastercard/AMEX) with a credit card surcharge of 1% Please note that as part of our Fraud Prevention Measures, all payments by credit or debit card are subject to stringent security checks including address and postcode verification. Any transactions where one or more of these checks are failed may be rejected by our Payment Services Provider. For your added protection, we do not store your card details.

Prices and GSTAll prices quoted are ex GST and may be subject to price changes at any time without prior notification unless invoiced to you as a customer. For orders outside Australia ChocMakers will not charge GST as the customer is responsible for paying the taxes applicable to their own country tax rules.

Timing of DeliveryAt time of order, ChocMakers will provide indicate dates; however, the dates are given in good faith. In the event of a delay, Chocolate Equipment Pty Ltd trading as ChocMakers will not be liable for any consequences of such a delay and shall remain entitled to deliver the goods and to receive payment for the machinery.

Risk and OwnershipRisk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery and the customer will be responsible for keeping the goods fully insured against theft and damage, however caused. In all cases, Chocolate Equipment Pty Ltd trading as ChocMakers retains full title to any and all goods until they are paid for in full.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations"All products considered as stock items by KeyChoc Ltd, may be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch and a full refund will be given. Note that if an order paid for by credit card is not cancelled on the same day it was placed, the customer will be liable for the credit card surcharge applied to the original payment as well as to the refund. In no circumstances will we accept goods back if they have been returned to us damaged. Goods should be inspected at the time of delivery and any damages or shortages must be reported to ChocMakers within two days of receipt of the goods for a credit to be given. If the goods cannot be inspected at the time of delivery, they should be signed for as “goods unchecked” from the carrier. Without this, ChocMakers will be unable to make a claim from the carrier for damages and therefore may not be able to accept a claim from the customer.

LiabilityChocolate Equipment Pty Ltd trading as ChocMakers shall in no circumstances be liable to the customer for any consequential loss of any kind, whether directly or indirectly caused by any fault in the goods or delay in delivery
